A 2,000 sf home in the Takoma Park historic district that successfully received BZA approval. The scope of work included: the renovation of the kitchen, partial removal of a structural bearing wall, updating the finishes of the second floor bathroom, removing the closet walls in the master bedroom, increasing the code compliance of the basement bedroom and adding insulation in the roof and exterior walls. Exterior improvements included enclosing the existing wood porch to expand the kitchen space and an adding a bump-out at the rear of the house for a powder room.
